This is an introductory course to CAESAR II focusing on the modelling, analysis and results presentation features of CAESAR II

Description

CAESAR II is the industry standard for pipe stress analysis, letting you build, assess and report on piping systems of any size or complexity in accordance with more than 35 international piping code standards and many environmental and equipment guidelines. This course will give you all the necessary tools to start using CAESAR II. Attendees will learn basics of CAESAR II, how to model a complex piping system, how to choose different types of supports, philosophy of various load cases and their use. All analysis procedures will be in accordance with ASME B31.3.

 

Learning objectives

How to make a 3D modeling piping, adding supports, flange pairs, bends, valves etc. Pipe analysis in accordance with ASME B31.3 and interpretation of results will be the focus of the course.

 

Target group

Pipe stress engineers and graduates performing or willing to perform pipe stress analysis.

Prerequisite

Basic knowledge in piping engineering is required. No previous experience in the use of CAESAR II is necessary.
